Omkareshwar, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is uniquely located on Mandhata Island in the Narmada River, naturally shaped like the sacred syllable “Om.” The Omkareshwar Parikrama is a 7–8 km circular walk around the island, taking 3–4 hours at a gentle pace. Devotees believe that completing this Parikrama fulfills wishes, removes karmic debts, and brings blessings from both Lord Shiva and Mother Narmada.

Walking Through the Twelve Madhav Shrines
Prayagraj, the Triveni Sangam city where the Ganga,
Yamuna, and Saraswati meet, is one of the holiest places in Hindu
tradition. Among its many sacred journeys, the
Keshava Parikrama, also known as the
Dwadasa Madhav Yatra, is especially revered. This
pilgrimage involves circumambulating the city while visiting
twelve Madhav temples, each dedicated to Lord Vishnu
in his various forms.
Devotees believe that completing the circle of twelve Madhavs grants
liberation, blessings of Vishnu, and purification of sins. The journey
is traditionally performed during Devotthan Ekadashi,
